Bebras Mini Challenges
Bebras Mini Challenges are free online resources for teachers and students wanting to try a short challenge in their own time, at any time of the year.
Each Challenge focuses on a different computational thinking skill. There are three different Mini Challenges for primary, middle school and senior students.
The primary category is recommended for students in years 3-5, middle school for students in years 6-8, and senior secondary for students in year 9 and above. These age groupings are a suggestion only, and we encourage students to challenge themselves by attempting different question sets.
The questions all come from previous years’ Bebras Challenges.
Bebras Mini Challenge: Pattern Recognition
This Challenge has questions that use pattern recognition as a key skill for solving the problem.
Bebras Mini Challenge: Networking
This Challenge has questions that require students to read and interpret variations of networks or network graphs in order to solve the problem.
Bebras Mini Challenge: Coding and Decoding
This Challenge draws on questions that require students to write small programs, or use decoding strategies to solve the questions.
