My child’s school is not offering the competition or program we are interested in. How can they participate?

We recommend you speak to your school to find out if they plan to run the competition or program, or if they would be willing to do so. We find that a lot of schools are quite receptive to this request from parents.

The AMT has, from time to time, and depending on the location, made arrangements for students to sit our competitions independently, where this opportunity is not provided at their school.

This involves unaffiliated students being supervised face-to-face at another school or suitable location, with support from AMT volunteers. Only students from schools that are not sitting the competition are eligible for the unaffiliated program.
