All student participating in AMT competitions and programs receive a digital certificate, which is issued to their school. For most competitions, a hard copy certificate is also provided.
Students participating in our two flagship competitions, CAT and AMC, receive hard copy performance certificates which include the student’s award on the front, and a result report on the back.
The result report includes your child’s:
- total score
- a breakdown of scores across the three parts of the paper
- percentile ranking for their year level (and region for A
aMC) - responses to each question and the correct responses
- result summary in the different areas of mathematics
- performance against the average for the region for each topic area.
Awarding criteria for AMC and CAT are outlined on our website.
Please note that:
- For CAT, awards are determined by comparing a student’s results with other students in the same year level.
- For AMC, awards are determined by comparing a student’s results with other students in the same year level and region (Australian state or territory, or country).
- Percentile ranks are approximate and may vary according to the number of students participating and the score distribution.
